There are many ways to meet our diverse transportation challenges here in Oregon. We encourage Chairman Mica and the members of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to prioritize both investing in Oregon's inter-city rail and freight system and to take a "fix-it-first" approach, and prioritize fixing our crumbling infrastructure before building new highways.
